小さな店内を見渡せる開放感と、隣の席が気にならないような閉鎖感を併せもつ縦型ルーバーは空間を構成する上で重要なパーツのひとつでした。見えすぎず、かつ、オーナーが立つ板場からは、お客様の料理やお酒の状況を確認しながら、次の料理の準備ができるよう、ルーバーに窓をつけました。これによって落ち着いた雰囲気のお店を創り出すことができました。

One of the most important concept of its space design is combining openness and closeness together. The openness is expressed by allowing customers to see the whole shop, and the closeness is expressed by building vertical louver to divide the seating areas. The louver provides privacy for the customers, yet allows owner to check how the customers are enjoying their meal, and prepare the next course of meal in advance. This idea gives the shop a calm atmosphere, yet allows the shop to operate in an efficient way.
