This is the office of young lawyer, Ryuji Abe. Instead of a bright atmosphere, the idea was to change it into a space where people can feel relief from uneasiness, even for a little. The space compliments Mr. Abe’s bright atmosphere.

職業上書類や書籍が多いことが明確だったので、本棚で間仕切りを形成することで、スペースを有効に活用できました。本棚は90cmごと分解できますので、フレキシブルにレイアウト変更できます。もし、新しい事務所に引っ越しても安心です。

本棚はスリット状になっているので、全ての空間が繋がっています。閉鎖的な感覚を軽減していますので、困難な内容の打合せの時、息が詰まるようなことが少しでも緩和できるように工夫しています。

There are many files and job related books, partitioned by the bookshelf, and becomes an excellent utilization of space. The bookshelf is detachable every 90cm, thus allowing a flexible layout. Even if there is a need to move the office, the design makes moving an ease. The slit shaped bookshelf allows all spaces to connect together and reduce feeling of closure. It was designed to give a sense of relief even during the most tensed situations.
