札幌市の藻岩山山麓、四季折々の草木の移ろいを感じながら生活できる築30年ほどのマンション。その1室のリノベーションの計画です。楽しい仕掛けを施し、家族が何処にいても繋がっているような感じになれる住まいを提案することができました。構造や既存の諸条件などから要望に添えない部分を逆手に取って大胆にプランできたと思います。

This renovation project consists of a 30 years old mansion located at the foot of Mt Moiwa in Sapporo. Taking advantage of its location, residents can enjoy the change of seasons throughout the year. The idea of adding fun and unique elements into the design, with the consideration of connecting family wherever they are. I think it would be a bold yet interesting idea to take advantage of its existing conditions and structure.

札幌市の藻岩山山麓の小さなマンションの1室をリノベーションしました。鉄骨鉄筋コンクリート造の壁で支える構造のマンションは間仕切りの撤去が難しく、大空間を構成することができませんでした。そこで、LDKをL+D+Kと分解し、それぞれを部屋に見立て計画。それぞれが独立しているようで、やんわりと繋がっているので、どこにだれがいるか空気が伝えてくれます。家族の姿が見えなくても何処で何をやっているかわかる住まいを提案したかったので、うまく既存の壊せない壁をコントロールして計画できた事例のひとつになりました。

We have renovated this little mansion located at the foot of Mt. Moiwa in Sapporo. The mansion was constructed part metal and part concrete, and thus it was difficult to remove partitions for bigger space. Due to this limitation, we decided to divide LDK into Living & Dining & Kitchen, and made separate plans accordingly. These rooms are individual rooms, but are all somewhat connected.
